A while back (feels like a million years ago, but it was probably only 4 or 5) I created a little deck for my actor friends about creating an actor brand using some of the techniques I've learned over the years doing corporate design. It's been gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere, but I thought it might be fun to dig it out, and see if it still offered any value. So, here it is: Take a read. Let me know what you think. |

We need to get this started. It seems we need authors to submit 5 pages or so of a script and we need actors to volunteer to read. Once we have enough of each we can choose a date and location and host our first reading. |

We meet regularly to read 5 or so pages of a short, web or feature length screenplay
We are writers and artists who get together to bring life to 5 pages of a script. Writer's get to hear their work performed by actors and actors get to practice their scene interpretations. Want to improve your writing? Want to practice audition and acting skills? Join us and lets read through some sides.

It seems to me that the first thing we need to do is figure out how we would like the group to function so that we can produce a good number of high quality videos. So we need to define the process and mission of the group and we need to start getting ideas and scripts for videos. When can you meet? What should we do next? |
